RnB singer, Akon has named Sarkodie as the only Ghanaian singer ‘at the top.’ The US singer was asked at a press conference Sunday to name three Ghanaian artistes who are putting the West African country on the map. But in response, Akon noted that the same question has been asked wherever he goes in Africa. Kofi Adams, NDC Parliamentary Candidate for Buem constituency Former National Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has criticised the Electoral Commission for its move to compile a new biometric voters register. Like his party, the NDC Parliamentary candidate for Buem in the Oti region described the decision of the EC to change the current voter register as illogical, saying the old register can be cleaned if the EC believes it has names of some persons who are not qualified to be voters in the country.
