EMPRESS GIFTY SENDS STRONG WARNING TO GOSPEL EVENT ORGANIZERS.
Gospel musician Gifty Osei now, Gifty Hopeson Adorye with the stage name Empress Gifty has expressed her intense feelings on how some gospel events organizers and agents shortlist her name from gigs.
According to her, the said organizers exclude her from shows because they felt she won't allow herself to be cheated. She feels it's an agenda to bring her down despite the good music and expensive music videos she puts out.
This revelation was made on Showbiz Xtra hosted by Doctar Cann on Happy 98.9 fm over the weekend as she promotes her new song "Jesus Over Do".
She said;
"Are you called Empress?
Do you know how my songs and videos are brought out and even their cost?
What pains me the more is that they've turned theirselves into English speaking individuals. You sing gospel songs in Ghana yet when you pay visit to South Africa, you minister in twi hence turning themselves into English Association. They set a table round shortlisting my name from shows just because I won't allow myself to be cheated. What pains me most is to be cheated. Tell me the truth that the money is Ghc 10000 and that you've taken a share since you are the agent. I am a human too, by telling me the truth, I will give you what you deserve meanwhile, if you don't tell me and I find out, then I will reveal the truth. Don't try by overshadowing me by shortlisting my name after all my hit songs.
The year 2020 will be a bloody movement when it comes to Empress Gifty my area." She said.
