PITCH INVADER AWAL SULEMAN FINALLY MEETS BLACKSTAR'S MIDFIELDER THOMAS PARTEY

AWAL SULEMAN FINALLY CATCH UP WITH BLACKSTAR'S PLAYER THOMAS PARTEY

Thomas Partey made a fan the happiest in the world by hanging out with him.

The lad had run across the pitch to meet his hero during last Thursday’s 2021 Africa Cup of Nation’s Qualifier match between the Black Stars and Bafana Bafana.

The international match took place at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium in Central Region.

Not only did Thomas Partey greet him with a smile, he gifted the lad who has since been identified as Awal Suleman a signed Black Stars jersey.

Mr Suleman invaded the Cape Coast Stadium pitch in the dying embers of the game which the Black Stars won 2-0 on Thursday night.

He said his reason for interrupting the match was to take a selfie with the Atletico Madrid star.

The 25-year-old man was arrested and detained at the University of Cape Coast police station.

But for the intention of Ghanaians including Black Stars players Andre Ayew and Asamoah Gyan, he would be jailed.
